We’re fast approaching the end of the year, a time for New Year’s resolutions, self-reflection, and goal setting. We think it’s an appropriate time to do the same for our business, to examine how far we’ve come and how much farther we want to go. Let’s see what’s on our plate.
Wrapping up one amazing first year.
Last month, we proudly celebrated Observa’s first anniversary. In November 2015 we launched the first version of our platform, and since then a lot has happened. Some of it good, some of it challenging and some of it… was a learning experience. Over time, we worked hard to improve our software, customer service, products performance, Observer base, and many other facets of our business so that we can be the cutting-edge company we have committed ourselves to be.
Getting noticed by the CPG world.
We first and foremost focused our efforts on our customers. After redesigning our website and growing our team with capable and determined individuals, we set out to grow our customer base by providing a high-quality service and ample expertise; I mean, our CEO is a veteran of the CPGs industry. We know what we’re talking about.
Throughout 2016 we expanded across all 50 states and Puerto Rico
One of our goals is to ensure our customers feel the care and attention only a small business can offer. We want our relationships to be built on trust and mutual respect. We are working toward the same goal, and it’s in everyone’s best interests that we provide unbiased, real data, professional assistance, and the best overall service and products. We do so by having our account managers handle each individual campaign personally while maintaining personal relationships with their customers. It might be premature, but it looks like we are heading in the right direction. Case in point: in November 2016 the website Insider-Trends published a list of “Top 50 Retail Tech Startups Worldwide”; you can find us at No. 31 in the “Analytics & Insight” section.

The spotlight found us in May 2016 when GeekWire published an article introducing our platform and explaining the basic principle behind Observa. Receiving attention from a well-known and highly regarded online publication made us proud. It also set the pace for high performance standards. We love a challenge, so we rolled up our sleeves and worked hard to ensure those standards were met.
Disclaimer: Our sleeves are still rolled up today. Like cool kids say, we have no chill.
We focused on improving the user experience on our app to ensure Observers can seemingly and smoothly navigate our platform. Furthermore, we are dedicated to establishing a solid and trustworthy relationship with Observers by providing them support and assistance with any issues they might face. Happy Observers make faster executed campaigns. Our hard work paid off when the Observa app was featured on Real Ways to Earn Money. The website published an article titled “The Massive List of 75 Smartphone Apps That Pay”; you can find us under the “Task-Base/Mistery Shopping Apps” section.
What to look forward to.
All in all, it was a good year, but we don’t kid ourselves: We know there’s still plenty of room to grow. And that’s what new years are for. We are heading into 2017 stronger and more determined than ever because we are proud of what we do, and we want our customers to be proud of having chosen Observa. Before we all move on to more exciting things, like New Year’s celebrations and champagne selection, here’s a quick preview of what you can expect from us in 2017. One of our goals for the future is to optimize our platform performance by allowing immediate location-based updates on the Observa app. Observers will be notified of any opportunities in their area in real-time so campaigns can be executed even faster. We are also working on expanding our range of products and services, so that we can provide even more analytics and insights. But most importantly, we are exploring the possibility of future collaboration with other software packages. We are on the way to find the perfect partner with whom to build a stronger and better Observa.
